Doki Doki Literature Club! OST
These are all the basic backing tracks that are included in the official soundtrack, it does not include the variants and other eerie BGM in the game. The album was released in September of 2017, when the game came out, and is available for purchase on Spotify, Youtube Music, Apple Music, Deezer, iHeartRadio, and PlayMusic. Information technology also comes with the DDLC Fanpack. Information technology comes with fifteen songs and has a five-star rating on the iTunes store.
1. Doki Doki Literature Club! (Main Theme)
This is the main theme of the game which plays whenever the player loads up the game. It is the only song other than "Your Reality" to include words, although the only lyrics in the song are "Doki Doki!". When the "Doki Doki!" plays, the girls and the menu options will appear on screen allowing the player to commencement or load the game. Information technology also plays diverse times throughout the game during club meetings.
This vocal is 2 minutes and 7 seconds long, and the master chord sequence for the vocal is C major, A pocket-sized, F major, G major. The only other chord in the song is D minor and it occurs once towards the terminate of the song. A majority of the BGM follows a similar pattern. Themes and melodies from this song are recurring throughout the game. "Doki Doki", from the title of the song (and game), refers to the sound of a beating center in Japanese symbolism.
One of the virtually prominent instruments in the music is piano. The background image for this vocal on the OST is the prototype of the girls from the main card screen and the logo of the game.
The histrion can access the file for this song, "i.ogg," by using a Ren'Py asset extraction tool such as Shizmob'south rpatool to excerpt the game/audio.rpa file within the Doki Doki Literature Lodge installation. "i.ogg" as well as all other music files volition be found inside the game/bgm/ folder.
2. Ohayou Sayori!
This is the first song that plays when the game is started up in Act i and Deed iv. Information technology is played when the player first meets Sayori on the protagonist's street as he makes his way to school. It is the but song in the OST that does non include the piano (other than Only Monika), and it is also the only vocal in the game before meeting Monika. It besides plays diverse times out of school throughout the game.
The song is ii minutes and 43 seconds long, and the primary chord progression is F major, B flat major, C major. There are no other chords in the song. This is in dissimilarity to the majority of the soundtrack, which is in the key of C major.
Ohayou means "it'southward early", and can also hateful "good morning". This makes sense considering that this is a morning earlier school and is early in the game. The groundwork paradigm of the song is the same every bit the ane for the main theme.
This song tin can be establish under 2.ogg.
3. Dreams of Love and Literature
This song plays during the poem mini game in Acts 1 and 2.
The vocal is 4 minutes and ix seconds long. The chord progression of the song is C major, F major, G major, F major. In the heart of the song, it faintly plays the tune from the principal theme. Other than that, it plays the same tune over and over with a few variations to the beat.
The background prototype of the vocal is the same as the one for the main theme. The vocal can be plant under 4.ogg.
4. Okay Anybody!
This song plays during club meetings in Acts i and 2, specifically when the protagonist is talking to the girls earlier or after they bear witness him their poems.
The vocal is 3 minutes and 4 seconds long. It follows the same chord progression as the main theme. It includes a diverseness of instruments, including piano, violin, a woodwind musical instrument, and a xylophone type musical instrument, which is thought to exist 1 for each of the girls.
"Okay Everyone" refers to Monika'due south catchphrase when she addresses the gild. This vocal includes melodies from the main theme. The groundwork image of the song is the same every bit the 1 for the principal theme.
The song tin be establish under "5.ogg."
5. Play With Me
This song plays during club meetings. Information technology is faster paced than the other songs, only fits in the same key equally the principal theme. The main chord progression is C major, D minor, C major, F major, however at that place are some G7, and A minor chords. There is besides a bridge in the music at 57 seconds which includes E small, A major, E major, and M major chords.
"Play with Me" refers to the Natsuki bound scare in Act 2, if the player writes two poems about her.
The background image of the vocal is the same as the one for the principal theme. The song can be found under "6.ogg."
6. Verse form Panic!
This vocal plays during Yuri and Natsuki'south fight in Act 1, which Sayori puts an stop to and makes both of them feel ameliorate. It is seen as comedic and is supposed to be a lighthearted and funny song. The audio of the song includes "boing" sounds, which symbolizes things going haywire.
There are two principal melodies in this song. The master chords in the vocal are C major and A minor, likewise as E minor. The minor chords bring through the feel of conflict. It does non contain melodies from the other songs.
The title of the song is ingemination to make it seem less serious and fun. The background image of the song is the aforementioned every bit the one for the principal theme. The song can be plant nether "7.ogg."
7. Daijoubu!
This song plays during Act 1, when the protagonist is out of school.
"Daijoubu" means "alright" or "its fine", which is ironic, since later in the game information technology becomes evident that everything is not "fine".
The chord progression of this song is F major, B apartment major, D minor, C major. Information technology is a very calming song, and like most of the other songs, makes the thespian lower their baby-sit, causing the horror of the game to come unexpectedly.
The background image of the song is the same as the one for the main theme. It can be found under "8.ogg."
This song is unique in that information technology is one of the only songs in the primary Act one soundtrack that has no Act two renditions of any sort, with "Sayo-nara" being the other one for obvious reasons (the principal card theme, "Just Monika," "I Still Love You lot," and "Your Reality" don't have renditions either, just most of those are exclusive to Acts 3 and 4, with the Main Menu theme beingness an obvious exception to both cases).
8. My Feelings
This song is a lot slower than the residue of the songs in the game. It plays during each of the special scenes with the girls in Act 1, in which the thespian will receive a CG image, and they talk near their feelings, hence the title.
The chord progression is C major, D small, F major, E minor. The background image of the song is the same as the i for the main theme.
This vocal can exist plant under "nine.ogg."
9. My Confession
This vocal plays during the scene in Sayori's room when she confesses to the protagonist that she has depression, thus its lamentable and deadening theme.
The chords in the song are G major, and F major, and the song contains a lot of arpeggios. The background image of the song is the same as the ane for the main theme. This is the last vocal in the OST with this background, aside from the credits. It tin be found nether "10.ogg."
10. Sayo-nara
This song plays when the protagonist finds Sayori hanging in her room on the day of the festival. The first of the vocal sounds similar a broken tape, and the majority of the songs has a haunting voice-like sound, which plays over a distorted xylophone-type musical instrument and a piano.
This song contains distorted versions of the main theme and "Dreams of Love and Literature". Sayo-nara patently refers to Sayori's name, which contains "Sayo" and the word Sayonara, which means "goodbye".
The chord progression is the same as the master theme, with an exception for the glitch audio at the kickoff. It is 2 minutes and 37 seconds long. The groundwork prototype of this song is the epitome of the girls from the main menu and the logo, except Sayori is missing from the flick. The song can be institute nether "d.ogg."
xi. But Monika
This audio is non equally much music, but is more of sounds that included distorted and faint audios of other BGM, bursting sounds, and outer space-like audio. Information technology is similar a mix of broken game sounds and galactic noises. It repeats the same thing over and over for 3 minutes and 22 seconds.
This audio plays when the game restarts for Act 3 and the player is alone with Monika, hence the name, Just Monika.
The chords in this song are a mix of G major, F sharp major, and A precipitous major chords, though it does not accept a specific tune. The background image for this audio is the paradigm of Monika from the master card screen, and the game logo. It is the same as the other backgrounds, except the other girls are missing. This song tin be found under "m1.ogg."
12. I Still Dearest You
This audio plays afterwards the player deletes Monika. Its title comes from Monika being unable to detest the player for doing so.
This audio is 2 minutes and iv seconds long, it is the same tune playing over and over again. An echoed sound, and then a brusk piano segment. Like "Just Monika", it sounds sort of galactic. The chords in this vocal are G major, and F major, with the occasional Chiliad minor.
The background epitome here is the same as the one for "Just Monika". It can be found under "monika-terminate.ogg."
thirteen. Your Reality (Credits)
This is the final vocal in the game that plays when the player reaches the end credits. It begins with Monika saying "Uh, Can y'all hear me? Hi it's me! Uh and so y'know how I've been similar...practicing piano, and stuff? And, I'g not really any expert at it yet, like, at all. But, I wrote y'all a song, and I was kinda hoping that I could evidence it to you lot, cuz I worked, really, really difficult on it. And so, yeah!". The credits then proceed to curl and Monika plays the song.
This song is nearly Monika's feelings throughout the game. She mentions "this world of infinite choices", which is sarcastic because she is in a game with a script, and since she was non given an ending, she will never detect "that special day". She also mentions the other girls in "when you're hither, everything that we do is fun for them anyway". She expands on non having a special day with "If this world won't write me an ending". She also says "Does my pen merely write bitter words for those who are dearest to me?", which shows that she knows she did horrible things to the ones she cares virtually. The most emotional part of the vocal is "And in your reality, if I don't know how to love yous, I'll leave you be", which shows that she knows she had done incorrect things, and that there is no way for her to always exist with the thespian, so she will permit them go, out of her dear for them.
This song is the merely i in the game with lyrics and a voice histrion, Jillian Ashcraft, who plays Monika. Information technology is 1 minute and 47 seconds long. the chord progression is the same as the main theme. The tune and melody is also the same equally the main theme, except more of the piano than other instruments, and a few variations towards the cease and the third chorus. The image for the background is the same as the one for the main theme. The song can exist establish under "credits.ogg" (despite Monika entering the control to play "ddlc.ogg").
14. Poems are Forever
This audio is not in the game, withal it is included in the official soundtrack on YouTube, and is a bonus track composed by Shoji. It is a remix of "Your Reality" too as nearly of the other in-game music. It is more than techno and upbeat than the rest of the OST.
It is 3 minutes and 41 seconds long. It contains many chords, including C small-scale, B flat major, G minor, and B flat minor. The background image is the same as the one for the main theme.
15. 「Doki Doki ドキドキ」

Monika's instrument is of class, piano. Unlike the other girls, this is the only instrument used in her version.
